The McKownville Fire District is holding its Annual Election for the position of Fire Commissioner on Tuesday, December 9, 2023, between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. at the McKownville Firehouse Station #2 at 100 Arcadia Avenue, Albany, New York.

Please note the location change due to construction of our new firehouse.

All registered residents of the McKownville Fire District who were duly registered to vote with the Albany County Board of Elections on or before twenty-three (23) days before the date of the election are eligible to vote at this election.

Voters will have the opportunity to elect one person to serve in the office of Fire Commissioner for a five year term, commencing January 1, 2026 and ending December 31, 2030.
