Public Information Meeting #1 – Thank You!

We want to thank our neighbors in the McKownville community for attending the first public information session for the proposed new firehouse last night, October 25, 2023. Many questions were answered and we are very happy to report that every seat was filled!

During these informational sessions, we are taking note of your questions, and when necessary, will research answers and respond both individually and also to the building project page for the wider community: mckfd.org/building

Our goal throughout the build process is to be as open, transparent, and forthcoming as possible.

If you would like to receive project updates via email, please let us know: building@mckfd.org

Thank You for Making Earth Day Spring Cleanup 2023 a Success

Thanks to our friends in the McKownville Improvement Association and the strong turnout of McKownville Fire Department members, our neighborhood cleanup 2023 was a tremendous success!

Despite the lousy weather, were able to clean up hundreds of pounds of garbage from the streets, shoulders and sidewalks of McKownville.

2023 Earth Day Spring Cleanup crew stands behind bagfulls of garbage they collected from the sidewalks and shoulders of McKownville.
